My name is Carlos Roberto do Nascimento Costa. Costa from my father, do Nascimento from my mother and Carlos Roberto my composed name. You should call me Carlos Costa (a.k.a. crncosta).
I am Software Engineer at IBM Linux Technology Center Brazil, developing/deploying RHEL and SLES for IBM Power Systems and platform.
I live in Campinas (São Paulo, Brazil) with my lovely wife Gelly. However we are from Belém, the second biggest city of Amazonia, the northern part of Brazil.
This Site is about what makes my life so special to me. Of course, I'm much more than a couple of HTML tags; you can't really sum a person up on simple pages, but at least this site contains technical papers, essays, reports, software, and other materials that help you to get some idea about my opinions and useful things that I did.

- txt2rss parsing a simple txt, converting it to RSS feed file. You can see it in action here.
- Link is a python module wrote in C to determine link status (up or down) for a given network interface (cable and wireless) and is based on the SIOETHTOOL and SIOCGMIIPHY Syscall (Linux kernel).
- dotFiles is a backup tool design to produces tarball of dot config files, like .vimrc, .muttrc, .mrxvtrc. Usefull as a Cron monthly job.
